We've been enjoying them lately but I must say if you're not used to drinking smoothies often (like me) then it's definitely a taste that will take some time getting used to.
They sure are pretty aren't they?
Happy Saturday!
Love, love, love smoothies.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter Chloe loves to make smoothies. It's fabulous because she always makes extra for me. Yummo! Thanks for sharing.
Mmmmm, those are almost like our breakfast smoothies! Look just like 'em. :)
ReplyDeleteOurs are vanilla yogurt, frozen berries of any sorts...and walnuts. :)
Here is a recipe that I love and is so healthy.
ReplyDelete1 C. blueberries (or any berry)
1 C. water
1 bannana
1 C. kale pulled from stem
1/2-1 C. Spinach
1/2-1 tsp. Vanilla extract
I love how healthy these "green smoothies" are. I have read that the blender has the perfect set of teeth, grinding our fruit and veggies so that our bodies can use all the great vitamins in our food. I drink mine at breakfast and always share a small one with my kids. I feel like it is a great way to get some veggies into their little bodies.
Thanks for sharing your fun recipe. :)
I drink my breakfast smoothie every morning ( well almost). Your's looks and sounds yummy (:
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! We make them similarly. We use frozen strawberries, yogurt (vanilla, strawberry or stranana), and a banana. They are so yummy!
ReplyDeleteYummy!! Hope you had fun at the Ultimate Blog Party! I know its over but I'm still partying and visiting some new blogs! :)
