Washboards no more - thankfully

Housework chores have been around for....
well I'm sure for as long as houses have been around - a long time.

There have been many changes as to how women accomplish their house-hold duties.

From sweeping the grounds to washing clothes, a lot of upgrades have taken place, thankfully.

One chore I really do not enjoy doing (for whatever reason) is laundry. I don't mind the dishes, dusting or even vacuuming - I actually like vacuuming - but there's just something about laundry that I'm not thrilled about. I'm not sure what it is, whether it's lack of space to clean and fold or that there is an enormous amount of it, either way it's not on my list of enjoyable chores - if there is such a list.

I am thankful however that even though laundry isn't my favorite, I don't have to use a washboard to accomplish the task.

I am forever thankful for the automatic washer and dryer.

What household chore is your least favorite?
What method do you use to make that chore manageable?

As I'm on day #11 of my blog challenge,
now I challenge YOU to blog everyday for the next 31 days!!

  1. Oh! Laundry is on my most-hated list too. I've never thought to look for the bright side of that particular cloud. Thanks for changing my perspective!

  2. My least favorite chore is snaking out the plumbing whenever it comes up (knock on wood). I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! - But I am very thankful for plumbing..... :)
Oh, and cleaning the gutters - hate cleaning the gutters!
